Overview
The Screenwriting minor is offered through the Schools of Public Engagement.
The minor in Screenwriting is designed to train students in the challenging field of creating stories for the screen (film, TV, web, etc.). Students learn to write feature-length screenplays, both comedic and dramatic teleplays, and explore specialized
areas while learning the fundamentals of character, conflict, and scene structure.
Course availability may vary from semester to semester. Some courses may be in development and offered at a later time. Students seeking to pursue alternative coursework to fulfill the minor should consult with their advisors.
