Overview
The Journalism + Design minor is offered through Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts.

Curriculum
The minor in Journalism + Design requires completion of five courses, distributed as follows, and a minimum of 18 credits:
- LLSJ 2001 News and Narrative I (4 credits)
- LLSJ 3001 News, Narrative, and Design II (4 credits)
- LLSJ 3505 Visualizing Data (4 credits)
- 2 electives chosen in consultation with the Departmental Faculty Advisor. One of these must be at the 3000 level or higher. (6–8 credits)
Total: 18-20 credits
Students must receive a grade of C or better in all courses to fulfill the minor. See the university course catalog for fall 2022 Journalism + Design courses that fulfill these requirements.

Minors are available to undergraduate students across The New School. Please meet with your Student Success advisor to see how a minor will fit in with your overall degree requirements. If you have additional questions about requirements for the Journalism
