Design Thinking for Human-Centered Healthcare

Taking a project-based approach to learning, this course introduces methods for applying design thinking to healthcare challenges. You develop strategies for creating a more human-centered experience for patients, staff, clinicians, and caregivers.

Designing Care Experiences and Interactions

Use case studies and self-initiated projects to learn how design actions — the configuration of spaces, enhancement of tools, and deployment of new communications strategies — can produce value for both patients and providers. This course emphasizes evidence-based practice.

Designing Care Services and Systems

Explore how systems of care are being transformed through design. Subjects of inquiry include digital solutions for healthcare delivery, product service systems that reduce environmental footprint, and other success stories.
