• To-Do List for Graduates

    • Apply for admission to The New School.
    • Search and apply for external scholarships. Check with your employer for tuition assistance programs.
    • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 
    • Review the cost of attendance and develop a preliminary budget. Include all of your resources and expenses for one academic year.
    • Once you are admitted, log in to your MyNewSchool portal.
    • In the portal, click on the Financial Aid link and find out about any outstanding documents that must be submitted.
    • Review your award notification in your MyNewSchool portal. You must accept your student loans in your portal.
    • Federal grants are not available to graduate students. Federal unsubsidized loans and Graduate PLUS loans are available. Review loan information at studentaid.gov.

Undergraduates

To apply to any of our undergraduate programs (except the Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs) complete and submit the Common App online.

Undergraduate Adult Learners

To apply to any of our Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.

Graduates

To apply to any of our Master's, Doctoral, Professional Studies Diploma, and Graduate Certificate programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.
