OVERVIEW
The minor in Creative Technologies for Performative Practice provides a technique-driven liberal arts approach to the creative, philosophical, and aesthetic dimensions of projection design in the context of theater arts. It fosters critical thinking and
challenges the imagination through experiences with aesthetic inquiry, creative technologies and projection design, collaborative theater practice (devised theater), and participation in technique practice (electives in theater and design and in film
and video production).
Students interested in the minor can simulate a worksheet that accounts for courses already completed and in progress using the “What If” feature in Degree Works.
Note: Course availability may vary from semester to semester. Some courses may be in development and offered at a later time. Students seeking to pursue alternative coursework to fulfill the minor should consult with their advisors.
