    • Portfolio Conferences are the performance or presentation portion of our admission process, offered by invitation to applicants who pass the first round of application reviews.

      Applicants must apply by our December 1 priority deadline to be considered for a Portfolio Conference. If space is available, applicants who apply after December 1 may be considered for a conference on a rolling basis.

      New York Conferences

      Location: The New School's College of Performing Arts, 55 West 13th Street, New York City
      Dates: January 19–22

      Chicago Conferences

      Location: The Palmer House Hilton, 17 East Monroe Street, Chicago
      Dates: January 28–31

      Virtual Conferences

      Dates: January 19–22 and January 28–31

Undergraduates

To apply to any of our undergraduate programs (except the Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs) complete and submit the Common App online.

Undergraduate Adult Learners

To apply to any of our Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.

Graduates

To apply to any of our Master's, Doctoral, Professional Studies Diploma, and Graduate Certificate programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.
