Once you’ve received your negative COVID-19 test results from binx or submitted your results from an outside provider, follow the instructions below to reserve a campus space.
Libraries
Library services continue to be available online. Physical items can be picked up or dropped off by reservation only on the second floor of Arnhold Hall. Requests should be made via the library catalog.
When materials are ready for pickup, patrons will be sent a link to make an appointment. Items may also be returned to the book drops located in the lobbies of Arnhold Hall and the University Center. No reservation is required to return items to the
book drops.

General Use Equipment Center
The General Use Equipment Center, available to students and faculty of The New School, will have an in-person pickup and drop-off location on the ground floor of Arnhold Hall, Room 102. Please schedule equipment pick-up and drop-off by selecting “EQC

University Center Quiet Study Rooms
Quiet study rooms are available in the University Center. Visit the reservation website to reserve one of these spaces.
University Center Event Cafe Self-Service Printing
Self-service printing is available at the University Center lower level Event Cafe area. Faculty, students, and staff can print wirelessly from a reserved seat using your personal laptop or device to B&W, Color, Pro Color and the draft Plotter machines. Please reserve your University Center Event Cafe Self-Service Printing seat at getspace.newschool.edu/reserve/print.
- There are five seats available for reservation periods totaling one hour at set times.
- You must reserve your seat 24 hours in advance.
- Multiple reservations are not allowed.
- Reservations cannot be extended.
Computer Labs
In addition to remote computer labs, on-site access to general-use computer stations are available on the eighth floor of Arnhold Hall
only. Each station can be reserved by one person per day. Printing will be limited to those with on-site reservations in Arnhold Hall. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
A reservation is required to use any of the following resources:
- 4 Open Lab Windows PC stations
- 11 Open Lab Mac stations
- 8 Open Lab Audio stations without MIDI
- 9 Audio stations, with MIDI, in rooms i805 and i806
- Printing directly from a reserved station to B&W, Color, and the draft Plotter
- Drum Scanner, Large Format Scanner, or Stop Motion Capture from a reserved station.
Note: Audio/Video Suites are not available for reservation.

Cafeteria
You may reserve space in the University Center cafeteria to eat. Appropriate PPE and social distancing is required. You may remove your mask while eating in your assigned area. To allow for proper clearing between break times, we kindly request that
you be sure to limit your time to 30 minutes. Visit the cafeteria scheduling platform to reserve a seat.
Parsons Making Center
Most labs, shops, and studios are open, with adjusted availability. Prior authorizations and technician consultations may be required. Additionally, limited seats and open work space is available for individual project work (task time) in several Parsons buildings.
