Experience a New School education for yourself by sitting in on a current class. An admission representative will help you select a specific course from those available. A list of courses will also be available for selection when you check in the day of your visit.

These events are open fairs, at the graduate, undergraduate, and/or transfer level, at which admission representatives staff a table on behalf of The New School. They serve as an initial point of contact between students and colleges, without students needing to travel to visit the college itself, allowing students to interact with admission representatives from a wide range of postsecondary institutions.

Portfolio Days offer anyone wishing to pursue higher education in the visual arts and related fields an opportunity to meet representatives of colleges accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. School representatives are available to review your artwork, discuss programs, and answer questions about professional careers in art and design.
